I just left American Fork hospital. Greg was admitted through the ER this afternoon. It was a little exciting (not in a good way) there for a few minutes. I went to the ambulance bay so they could wheel him in (he's not really walking right now) and they took him straight back. He was dripping sweat, vomiting, and a very strange greenish/gray color. They took his blood pressure and it was quite low. They struggled for about 30 minutes to get an IV in a vein before it collapsed. I was standing in the doorway and Greg asked the nurse if he was going to die. I said maybe a titch too loudly "Oh for heavens sake, NO!" The nurse looked at me and said "He's very sick." Yeah, he's sick, but he's not going to DIE. Good grief. Anyway, by the time I left 2 hours later his blood pressure is normal, his O2 levels are normal, and they put a picc line in so they have a very reliable line in. Everything is fine.
They will keep him and hopefully do the amputation in the next 4-5 days.
