What is your favorite movie?
This is hard because I have favorite movies in all the different movie categories! Here is a sampling:
LONESOME DOVE!!!!! This is at the top for a reason. I love it. My maiden name is Western....and I love a good cowboy movie. The best one ever? Lonesome Dove. You will love it the entire 18 days it will take you to watch it. If I were a prostitute in the old west, I totally would have married Agustus McCrae. Yeah he's old and he's from Texas (boo) but he's still HOT.
Steel Magnolias is a movie I loved through all my adolescents. I was going to name my daughter Shelby. I can still quote long passages of this movie. "My colors are blush and bashful, I have chosen two shades of pink one is MUCH deeper than the other." The colors I chose for my wedding? Pink. Shelby was even a nurse. Come on, she was everything I wanted to be!!! Little did I know I would end up being more like Ouiser. (That's the right spelling, I looked it up.) I haven't seen it in years, but for nostalgia's sake, here she is.
Signs. Signs is so good. Anyone who knows me at all knows I am not the least bit into Sci Fi. I hate it. But if you think this alien movie is about aliens, you are totally wrong. This movie is about faith. And that's why I love it. It may also have something to do with the joy I find scaring people who are watching it with me. And the first time I saw it? I was in a movie theater with Kim and Alton. Kim screamed louder than I have ever heard her scream.....multiple times. It was awesome.

I LOVE Steel Magnolias! My favorite character is Ouiser and my favorite part is when Clairee offers Ouiser as a punching bag for M'Lynn at the funeral! We'll have to get together and watch it sometime!
