East Coast Vacation 2016

We flew to Baltimore on July 1st and took a swing by the Washington DC temple.  We were greeted by Brother Beaver.

2 mile hike around Government Island and catching lightning bugs in the park!  Halle finally got up the nerve to catch one.

Philadelphia on the 4th of July!  Had the whiz, saw the crack.  I'll have dreams about the sandwich at Campo's.  

Hershey Pennsylvania.  We had a blast watching the 4D movie, chocolate tasting and making our own candy bars.  Spent hours there.

Anchor Bar in Buffalo, New York for the original buffalo wings, a drive through upstate New York and seeing Niagara for the first time at night....with fireworks!

One of my favorite days!  Niagara Falls and Cave of the Winds!  We got involved in picture taking even though it was discouraged by our tour guide.

Palmyra, The Sacred Grove, and The Hill Cumorah Pageant.  We went on dress rehearsal night and had front row seats.  The food tent applauded when we walked up to buy dinner.

  

Gettysburg!  Last day of our road trip and we were all tired.  Would love to go back someday.

Virginia Beach day 1!  Saw dolphins and boogie boarded.

Virginia Beach Day 2!  More dolphins, the Atlantic took Loralee's glasses, visor, and dignity.  Sunburns all around!

Colonial Williamsburg.....where we almost died a sweaty death of humidity and heat.
