One year

I love going to bed with you every night, and waking up with you every morning.

 I love the way you hold my hand in the car.

I love the way you kiss my forehead.

I love going anywhere with you.  I never want be away from you.

I love the way you love me.

I love going to church together.

I love getting in the tub together.

I love hiking with you.  I love that we have the same stride.

I love that I feel so at home with you.  You bring me so much comfort.

I love that you always hold me.

You're my favorite person.

It hasn't been an easy year....

Which surprises me because I love you so completely.

Second marriages are more complicated that I thought.

But you make it so worth it.

I'm not your first love, and you aren't mine...

But you're my true love.

And I'm grateful for second chances

And that my second chance gets to be with you.

You are kind, loving, forgiving, hard working,

and SOO incredibly handsome.
