Hey everyone! For updates on Greg and all his hoop-la, visit his blog. The link is in my link list on the left.
I am too busy running this one woman show to blog here too. Plus nothing blog-worthy is happening here. A few things of interest are listed below for your enjoyment.
1. We went for a walk and Tori (my great friend and neighbor) caught a big toad in someones lawn and ran it home, screaming, while toad pee dripped from her elbows. Don't worry, she's a nurse and can handle bodily fluids. The kids thought it was GREAT fun. He has been sentenced to solitary confinement in their window well. ( They have always had Garrett envy and copy cat us any chance they get!) He seems happy there with his house and water dish. I, on the other hand, am wracked with guilt over our Kermit and contemplate releasing him from his window well prison every day. I don't know what to do.
2. The next night Tori and I went toad hunting down my the Jordan River Parkway which is a hop, skip and a jump away. The adrenaline rush from the night before went to her head and now she seeks her next "toad rush". We took the entire neighborhood's kids with us. We sadly didn't find any toads, but we brought half the pretty rocks home with us. We also stood by the tracks and I said "Wouldn't it be cool if a train came by?" Wha- lah! 10 seconds later a train came! We were maybe 15 feet away from the tracks and the conductor waved and blew his horn. We were close enough that the ground was shaking and it felt (CRAZY in my tummy, mom!) I have since said "Wouldn't it be cool if we had a million dollars?" and "Wouldn't it be cool if Greg was healed, had a job, and we could have another baby?" Apparently the magic is gone and I am kicking myself for wasting it on a TRAIN! Ah well.

I have Garrett envy, I want a frog!
So cute! I like your wishes, although according to my son there would be NOTHING better than using a wish on a train.
