We had a little party...

It was kind of a marathon.  It started at 3 pm with all the boys from Jack's class.   We partied for two hours.  Then I realized that I hadn't prepared anything for scouts.  So I called all the boys at 5:15 and had them come to my house....so we could party some more.  At 6:30, my family came.  We added pizza to the party and went until 8.

I am tired.

The cake

He liked it.

They were all starving

The BIG SURPRISE

Having fun

Once the partying went to their heads...

My seat for the 5 hour party...next to my mom.  We went through 3 gallons of Kool-Aid before I cut them all off.  That's 6 envelopes.  I made them all drink water.  This is about the fourth hour.  Notice all the cute Scooby plates and color coordinated cups and straws are GONE.  The cutesy was gone and we were down to eating bits of chocolate cake with our fingers.  It was survival, people.

My view.  Sage laid in the shade all day and enjoyed it too.

I didn't get pictures of the awesome treat bags, any of the balloons, or the table with the cute stuff on it.  But I guess that's okay.  The only one who gave a second thought to any of that was me....

Happy Birthday Jack... I hope it was an awesome one!

Here they are, coming outside to see the Big Surprise.
