More enriched than Wonder Bread

The last year and a half as a single mom has been hard, I'm not going to lie.  I have felt all the things you might imagine: frustration, envy, sadness, anger, relief, peace, etc.

I have also felt very lonely at times.  I have been lonely for someone to talk to about stuff, lonely for someone to share the joy of my kids with.  Lonely for someone to go do something with.

But it's never lasted long.  And I am eternally grateful for the love, sacrifice, and service of my friends.  I have THE BEST friends.  Sometimes I will be lying in bed feeling sad and at the very moment a friend will text me.

How are you feeling?

Thinking about you.  Are you good?

I just have a minute, but how was your day?

It means the world to me.  I hope they know that I need them, and they enrich my life.
