Kindergarten Graduation!

I cannot believe the school year is over. It seems like it was just yesterday that I took this picture on the very first day of school:

So much has happened to Hal this year. She lost her first tooth:

She won the Reflections contest at her school and county levels. Now THAT was exciting!

Yee Haw! It was cowboy day:

She turned six:

And now she's a kindergarten graduate.

When she was a tiny baby I used to freak out a little bit because I felt like she was growing and changing so quickly. I couldn't make it stop and I couldn't slow it down. I was panicked that it was all happening so fast and I was missing things! I felt that way today as well. My video camera was fogged up and tears ran down my face. I cannot believe she is so grown up. I miss her as a baby. We really enjoyed her in ways you only can with your first. I sat and stared at her for hours every day. I am so proud of her today. She did a great job. Now she's a first grader!

Well, in Ashley's defense, I didn't have the pictures on yet when she commented. You are so on top of it, Ash!
