Evidence

I often wonder what the heck has been happening while I was asleep. After working a grave, I usually wake up about 3 pm. As consiousness comes to me, I often ask myself the same questions.

"I wonder why it's so quiet."

"Hmmm....I wonder what the house looks like."
"I wonder why it's so quiet."
"What IS that shoved under the closed door?"
"WHAT IS THAT SMELL?"

At this point I usually try desperately to go back to sleep. I don't want to know any answers. But I am guiltily drawn to the door. There are messes for sure. I don't get straight answers on what's been going on, or who is responsible. The kids blame Greg and of course, Greg blames the kids.

Well, today I know. Halle and Jack have taken my camera with them all day long to document the distruction and havek. They took 53 pictures of evidence.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Halle and Jack's photo journal, titled:

Bug Piper. >10 pictures were of Piper.

(Poor Piper. They never leave her alone.)

There were birthday parties!
(This is not really naughty, they are cute kids.)

They colored me pictures. (These were what was shoved under the door.)

(Again, sweet kids. This is also evidence of my spectacular mothering.)

They made messes...

(Naughtiness. They get this from their dad.)

They played the DS

They ate my secret stash of chocolate.

(Very naughty.)

I go to work again next weekend. I'll have to remind Halle to steal the camera again. And to please document the firetruck coming to our house to put out the fire. I'll want to blog about it.
