I had the whole family in the car the other day, driving to the McDonald's by IKEA. Jack was crying and whining about something. (Tell me it's a phase!) Complete with "I hate you!" (The first time he said that, Halle was in shock. She's too sweet to think of that on her own.)
As we approached the prison I said "Jack, if you don't knock it off, I will pull into that jail and let them keep you until you turn 7!"
"NOOOOOO!!!!!" he wailed, and as my finger was poised over the turn signal, I heard Halle...
in a sweet big sister voice whisper..."It's okay Jack. They don't let kids in there. You would just go to Jubey."
Jubey=Juvey As in Juvenile Detention. I have no idea where she learned that.
And Jack, I have news for you little boy. I know exactly where Jubey is- right next to the prison, and you aren't out of the woods yet.

It is amazing the things they learn! As far as the crying and whining I am still hoping its a phase as well :) Brandon's not as bad as he use to be so maybe he is growing out of it. There may still be hope!
